GTA 6 Casino Rumours: Poker, Craps, Baccarat & More in Vice City

I explore how GTA 6 could expand casino gaming with poker, craps, baccarat, roulette, blackjack, slots and a far more immersive Vice City gambling world.

Could GTA 6 take casino gaming far beyond the Diamond Casino? I examine the rumours surrounding poker, craps, baccarat, roulette, blackjack and slots—and how I think Rockstar could turn gambling into a much deeper part of Vice City.

Grand Theft Auto VI returns to modern-day Vice City and the wider state of Leonida on 19 November 2026. For me, one of the most interesting unanswered questions is not simply how big Rockstar's new world will be, but what happens to the casino?

I am not particularly interested in seeing GTA Online's Diamond Casino copied into GTA 6 with better graphics. Rockstar has already demonstrated that it can build a virtual casino destination. What interests me is how much further it could go.

Unconfirmed GTA 6 rumours and community speculation have mentioned Texas Hold'em, blackjack, three-card poker, roulette, craps, baccarat, video poker and slots. Rockstar has not confirmed that collection of GTA 6 casino games, so I am treating them as possibilities rather than facts.

But if some of them do appear, this is how I think they could work.

Will GTA 6 Have Texas Hold'em Poker?

Poker is probably the easiest game for me to imagine receiving a major upgrade.

Rockstar has already demonstrated through Red Dead Redemption that it can make Texas Hold'em feel like something taking place inside a living world rather than an anonymous betting screen.

In GTA 6, I would like to see different levels of poker: low-stakes public tables, underground cash games, private mansion games and invitation-only tournaments.

What interests me most is how far Rockstar could develop the opponents. Individual NPCs could have recognisable playing tendencies—aggression, hesitation, excessive bluffing or risk aversion. With modern facial animation, physical behaviour could potentially become part of reading an opponent rather than the player simply calculating cards against an invisible system.

For multiplayer, GTA 6 poker could become an activity people return to independently of the main game.

How Could GTA 6 Blackjack and Roulette Expand?

Blackjack does not need radically different rules. It needs a more convincing world around the table.

I could imagine low-limit blackjack in an ordinary Leonida gambling hall, larger stakes at a Vice City resort and private games accessible only once Jason or Lucia has acquired enough money, reputation or the right contacts.

I would approach GTA 6 roulette similarly. I want to see chips physically spread across the layout while several players bet simultaneously. The dealer closes the betting, the wheel spins and everybody around the table watches the same result.

The mathematics does not have to change. What changes is the experience surrounding it.

How Could GTA 6 Craps Work?

Of all the rumoured additions, GTA 6 craps interests me most.

I have spent a great deal of time studying craps, and its apparent complexity is precisely what could make it brilliant inside Grand Theft Auto. A proper craps table has Pass Line bets, Come bets, Place bets, odds and proposition wagers all operating around the same dice.

More importantly, it is communal.

One shooter throws while everyone else waits on the same outcome. Dealers are handling chips, the stickperson controls the dice and the atmosphere can change dramatically during a long roll.

I can picture Rockstar turning that into controlled chaos: NPCs shouting, drinks being knocked around, chips accumulating across the layout and the crowd becoming increasingly animated.

Readers who want to understand what is actually happening beneath that seemingly chaotic betting layout can also read my complete How to Play Craps guide, which covers the rules, bets, odds and strategy in detail.

For me, craps offers Rockstar something that slots or blackjack cannot: the sociology of the casino floor.

Baccarat Could Unlock Vice City's High-Roller World

I see GTA 6 baccarat very differently.

Where craps should be loud and manic, I would place baccarat inside quieter private salons: high-denomination chips, expensive surroundings, security and wealthy NPCs whom Jason and Lucia cannot initially approach.

The actual baccarat rules do not need to become complicated. The value could come from what access to the table represents.

That is where gambling could start feeding directly into character progression. Perhaps winning is secondary to gaining entry to the room, meeting a criminal contact or becoming accepted among Vice City's elite.

Slots and Video Poker Could Create a Real Casino Floor

I would also expand GTA 6 slots considerably.

A convincing casino should not contain rows of machines that behave almost identically. I would rather see fictional manufacturers, different denominations, bonus structures, RTP models and distinct volatility profiles.

Rockstar could place low-volatility machines offering more frequent smaller wins alongside high-volatility games with infrequent but considerably larger virtual jackpots. Video poker could similarly feature different games and pay tables rather than one generic machine.

I would also want NPCs actually occupying the floor—moving between machines, celebrating wins, abandoning seats and reacting to losses.

Those details are what transform casino scenery into an operating casino.

I Want More Than One GTA 6 Casino

This is probably my biggest hope for Leonida.

Possible locationGames I would expectAtmosphere
Vice City luxury resortBaccarat, blackjack, rouletteVIPs and high rollers
Local gambling hallSlots, video poker, blackjackBusy, cheaper and rougher
Underground venueTexas Hold'em, crapsCriminal contacts and high stakes
Private propertyPoker and baccaratInvitation only

I would rather discover gambling throughout the map than see every casino game compressed into a single Diamond Casino replacement.

It would also give Rockstar more opportunities to connect gambling with the story: meetings, surveillance, gambling debts, robberies, criminal deals or access to people the protagonists cannot otherwise reach.

I am not suggesting those missions have leaked. They have not. I am looking at what Rockstar could logically build from the systems it already has.

Could GTA 6 Online Go Even Further?

Online is where I think the concept could eventually become enormous.

Private poker tables, tournaments, different table limits, rotating events, VIP memberships and groups of friends meeting around the same tables could effectively create a multiplayer casino operating inside GTA 6.

There are genuine issues surrounding virtual gambling, purchasable currencies and geographical restrictions, but I have deliberately covered that subject separately in my article on simulated gambling in video games and the GTA casino rather than repeating it here. My focus here is what Rockstar could build.

Could GTA 6 Redefine the Virtual Casino?

Nothing currently confirms that GTA 6 will contain this entire collection of casino games.

But Rockstar already has many of the pieces.

It has built casino gaming in GTA Online. It has built immersive multiplayer poker. It now has Vice City and Leonida as the setting for its next Grand Theft Auto world.

If Texas Hold'em, blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat, slots and video poker eventually come together, I do not want them to feel like seven disconnected mini-games.

I want Rockstar to simulate the casino floor itself—the noise, hierarchy, personalities, money, tension and social behaviour surrounding the bets.

That, for me, would be the real evolution of the GTA 6 casino.
